1. Booking and Payment
1.1. All bookings require a deposit as specified on the respective trek or package page. The remaining balance must be paid before the trek begins, as per our payment schedule.
1.2. Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment systems, or other methods accepted by us.
1.3. Any additional expenses incurred during the trek (e.g., personal items, beverages, or extra services) are the responsibility of the client.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1. Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds will be processed as per our cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made 30 days before the trek start date: Full refund minus administrative fees.
- Cancellations made 15-29 days before the trek: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the trek: No refund.
2.2. In case of trip cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest), we will offer rescheduling or refunds based on our policies.
3. Health and Fitness
3.1. All participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit for the trek.
3.2. It is mandatory to disclose any medical conditions or special requirements before booking.
3.3. Explore Himalaya Treks reserves the right to refuse participation to individuals who are deemed unfit or pose a risk to themselves or others.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1. Clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and other relevant risks.
4.2. We are not responsible for any costs incurred due to a lack of insurance or insufficient coverage.
5. Risks and Responsibilities
5.1. Trekking in remote regions involves inherent risks, including accidents, injuries, or delays. Clients agree to participate at their own risk.
5.2. While we take all reasonable precautions, Explore Himalaya Treks is not liable for personal injuries, loss of belongings, or unforeseen events.
5.3. Clients must follow the instructions of the guide or trek leader at all times to ensure safety.
6. Changes to Itinerary
6.1. Explore Himalaya Treks reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control.
6.2. Any additional costs incurred due to such changes will be borne by the client.
7. Privacy Policy
7.1. Personal information provided during bookings will be used solely for trip arrangements and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
8. Governing Law
8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any disputes shall be settled under Nepalese jurisdiction.
